Virat Kohli’s brave man created a ruckus, became the third bowler to take a hat-trick in the T20 World Cup


New Delhi: Wanindu Hasaranga created a ruckus in the match between South Africa and Sri Lanka in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

Sri Lanka lost

Batting first after losing the toss, Sri Lanka scored 142 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. In response, South Africa completed 146 runs in 19.5 overs for the loss of 6 wickets and won the match by 4 wickets.

Hat-trick by Wanindu Hasranga

Sri Lanka may have lost this match but their bowler Wanindu Hasaranga created a ruckus with a hat-trick. He showed the way to the pavilion in 3 consecutive balls to Aiden Markram, Temba Bavuma and Dwayne Pretorius respectively.

Third hat-trick of T20 World Cup

Wanindu Hasaranga is the third bowler in the world and the first from Sri Lanka to take a hat-trick in the Men’s T20 World Cup. Before Hasaranga, Brett Lee of Australia and Curtis Campher of Ireland (Irelans) have also done this feat. Camper has taken wickets in this T20 World Cup in four consecutive balls.

Hasranga is the braveheart of Virat

Wanindu Hasaranga was seen playing for Virat Kohli’s team RCB in IPL 2021. He got a chance to play only 2 matches in this season.
