New Delhi: IPL 2021 is starting once again in UAE from today. This big league was started in India in the month of April this year. But due to the second wave of corona virus, it was stopped midway on 4 May. Today, in the first match of the second half, five-time champions Mumbai Indians are facing CSK under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Big bigwigs have made their predictions about this year’s winner of IPL. Meanwhile, former Team India opener Virender Sehwag also told which team is such which is a big contender to win the trophy this year.
Sehwag’s strength is seen in these two teams
Virender Sehwag has recently told about the two teams that can win IPL this year. Talking to Hindustan Times, Sehwag said that according to him, Mumbai Indians captained by Rohit Sharma and Delhi Capitals of Rishabh Pant are the biggest contenders to become champions this year. Let us tell you that last year also the final match was played in UAE between five-time champions Mumbai and Delhi Capitals.
CSK will not be able to win the title!
Sehwag believes that CSK, which performed brilliantly in the first half, will not be able to do much in the second half and their chances of winning the title are slim. Sehwag said that Dhoni may have had a great first half of IPL 2021 for CSK but his batting remains a bit sluggish on UAE pitches and due to this he may have to face a lot of difficulties.
Today Mumbai will face CSK
Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are the two most successful franchises in terms of winning the IPL title and the second phase of IPL 2021 will begin with the match between these two teams on Sunday. CSK are second in the table with five wins from seven matches while Mumbai’s team is at number four with eight points from seven matches with four wins.
