Yuvraj Singh with Virat Kohli
India took on Australia in the first match of the three-match T20I series in Mohali on Tuesday and there was plenty of star power on show both on and off the field. Two of India’s cricket’s finest players, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh, were also honored for their contribution to the game as two stands named after both were unveiled by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.
The 40-year-old Yuvraj, who played international cricket for almost two decades before starting a stellar career in 2019, was accompanied by teammate Harbhajan Singh at the PCA Stadium here.
Later, a video of Yuvraj talking to Virat Kohli ahead of the start of India’s innings was posted on Instagram by host broadcaster Star Sports.
In the video, both Kohli and Yuvraj can be seen engrossed in some series discussions. The two have shared a good rapport with each other over the years.

The 2011 World Cup hero turned emotional when he was asked about the BCCI blazer he was wearing while entering the premises.
“It feels good to be back like this at the PCA stadium. It’s the first time I’m wearing a BCCI blazer in my stadium. It feels great to be called and accepted by my former parent association,” he told PTI.
