New Delhi: The BCCI’s Senior Selection Committee announced India’s Test team for the ICC World Test Championship final which includes Shubman Gill. At the moment, Gill is going through a very poor form, but the team management has shown confidence in him. Meanwhile, Sunil Gavaskar has given a big statement regarding Shubman Gill’s form.
Sunil Gavaskar said on Gill’s performance
Sunil Gavaskar, while talking to Star Sports, said about Shubman Gill, ‘I think the pressure of expectations has suddenly increased on Shubman Gill. Earlier things were different and he was just the newcomer. After the best performance in Australia, now their expectations have increased that they can score as many runs as possible and that is the reason that they are not scoring runs under pressure.
Gavaskar (Sunil Gavaskar) further said, ‘Shubman Gill needs to relax. He is only 21 years old. They will fail and they will have to learn from them. They should play independently without any pressure. If he plays his natural game, then runs will definitely be scored.
