London: Team India and New Zealand will meet on 18 June in the World Test Championship final. The Indian team has reached England for this World Cup of Test cricket. After the World Test Championship, a Test series is to be played between India and England.
Along with the men’s team, the women’s team has also come, which will play three ODIs and as many T20s in addition to one Test match on the tour of England, which will start in Bristol from 16 June.

Now both the teams will now travel to Southampton in which they will complete their mandatory segregation. After completing the isolation and subsequent COVID-19 test, the Virat Kohli-led men’s team will take on New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship here from June 18. The men’s team will then face England in Nottingham for a five-match Test series starting on August 4.
India has arrived with a 20-man squad for the World Test Championship final and the series against England keeping in mind the Kovid-19 pandemic. After reaching England, Indian players are posting their pictures on social media.
Confirming the safe arrival in London, top-order batsman KL Rahul tweeted, “Flight landed” with a photo of the chartered flight in the back.

The fight will start from June 18
The World Test Championship final against New Zealand will be played in Southampton on June 18 while the series against England will start in Nottingham from August 4. The second Test will be played at Lord’s from 12 to 16 August, the third at Leeds from 25 to 29 August, the fourth at The Oval from 2 to 6 September and the fifth at Manchester from 10 to 14 September.
