‘You will not play in CSK’s playing XI’, MS Dhoni told the player who won the World Cup

New Delhi: The second phase of IPL 2021 is going to start in UAE from 19th September. The veterans are speculating about which team will prevail on whom. However, the fans are waiting when their favorite players will be seen doing wonders on the field. MS Dhoni’s team CSK had replaced former India batsman Robin Uthappa in their team earlier this season, but till now he has not made his debut for CSK.

Will Uthappa get a chance?

Former India batsman Robin Uthappa became a part of CSK for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Uthappa of Rajasthan Royals was added by Dhoni to his team after Shane Watson announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He was not given a chance to play in the first leg, so it will be interesting to see this time he will be able to make his debut for Chennai.

Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad open for CSK. On the other hand, Robin Uthappa is also an opener, so he may have to wait to play. Although there are reports that Faf du Plessis is not fully fit, if this happens then Uthappa can be given a chance.
