After his retirement, Punjab Cricket Association secretary Punit Bali had asked him to play in his state and Yuvraj was also ready to play for Punjab.
In the Syed Mustafa Ali Trophy tournament to be held next month, Yuvraj Singh has been included in 30 potential players from Punjab.
The BCCI is planning to organize the National T20 Championship Syed Mustafa Ali Trophy from January 10. Its placements will be announced later. The tournament will be played in a bio-safe environment and teams will gather at their respective bases by 2 January.
