Amazon offering 10 free Kindle e-books in India

Amazon is giving 10 Kindle e-books absolutely free on the occasion of World Book Day on 23 April today. These books are available in English for Indian users. Users can download this e-book in their device through Amazon account without any extra charge. He can read these free e-books on Kindle and Amazon Fire tablets. Apart from this, he can also avail this facility through the Kindle app in his smartphone and device. This free Kindle e-book offer will be available from 12.29 pm on 25 April.

According to the micro site created on Amazon, all customers who have ‘India’ set in the country category on their Amazon account are all eligible for this offer. The 10 e-books available can be downloaded from the microsite, but Amazon says the offer is non-transferable and will not be resold. Books available for free are from different places around the world.

Speaking of books, this list includes The Broken Circle: A Memoir of Escaping Afghanistan by Enjeela Ahmadi-Miller, The Son and Heir: A Memoir Kindle Edition by Alexander Munninghoff, Some Days Kindle Edition by Maria Wernicke and A Single Swallow by Zhang Ling etc. Some of these books are of the translated version.

Amazon recently introduced a new feature for the Kindle and Audible platforms. Under this feature Amazon Kindle users can now set the cover of the book to the lockscreen wallpaper they are currently reading. This feature is available for Kindle (8th, 10th Gen), Kindle Paperwhite (7th, 10th Gen), Kindle Oasis (8th, 9th, 10th Gen) and Kindle Voyage (7th Gen). Users can easily see if their Kindle device is eligible on the e-commerce site. You can find the new Show Cover option in the settings of your device.
