Apple’s ‘One More Thing’ event today, watch livestream here

Apple is going to organize a virtual event of the event called ‘One More Thing’ today. This will be Apple’s fourth major event this year, before the company recently launched the latest iPhone models. At the same time, in the final event of 2020, it is expected that the Tim Cook-led team can present Apple’s own silicon-based MacBook models. In addition, Apple also announced its in-house chip scheme on the Intel processor at WWDC 2020 held earlier this year. However, new hardware is yet to be introduced, which will feature its native chip.

Apple event timing, livestream details

Today the Apple event will begin at 10am PST (11:30 pm Indian time). Like its previous two hardware focus events, as with the WWDC 2020 event, today’s event will also be held virtually. Apple will livestream this event through its Apple Event site. Apart from this, you can also watch this event live on Apple TV app and YouTube. Not only this, you can also see this event of Apple directly in the video embedded below.

Apple event announcements (expected)

Apple may introduce hardware based on its native ARM silicon at this event. Although the company has not provided any information in this regard in its official media invoices, only one tagline has been mentioned in the invoices sent “One more thing”.

This may mean that in this event, there is no disclosure related to iPad, Apple Watch or iPhone, as the company has already announced these in different events.

Let me tell you, for the last time, there are also reports that the company is working on its AirTags. However, this announcement is not likely to happen in today’s event. A launch related to MacBook and other Mac devices can be expected instead.

During WWDC 2020, Apple confirmed its in-house ARM-based silicon plan for next-generation Mac machines. However, this move of the company has been in the news for the last several years.

New Apple MacBook likely

According to a recent Bloomberg report, Apple is expanding the production of its new 13-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models as well as 13-inch MacBook Air. It is being said about the small model that work is going on on its production, while the remaining two models can be introduced in today’s event. It is also being told about the MacBook models that it has not made any visible changes other than silicon.

The Nikkei Asia report has revealed that Apple will produce 2.5 million units of the MacBook based on its native processor in early 2021. It is being said that these new MacBook models will be manufactured in China.
