Asus ZenFone 8 phone will be launched on May 12, not a pop-up selfie camera will be given a hole-punch design!

The Asus ZenFone 8 smartphone will be launched on May 12, which will be knocked down with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. This was revealed through the latest teaser of the Taiwanese company. According to the reports coming out about the ZenFone 8 series, this series may include many more smartphone models. However, other models of the series have not been provided in the latest report. Older leaks indicate that Asus may introduce the Vanilla Zenfone 8 in this series as well as the ZenFone 8 Mini and ZenFone 8 Flip.

An animated outline of the upcoming phone was also seen in the tweet, with which the hole-punch cutout can be seen. This indicates that the vanilla ZenFone 8 smartphone will not have a flip camera design for the selfie camera like its previous version Asus ZenFone 7.

Talking about the display, the old reports had claimed that the Asus ZenFone 8 Mini smartphone will be launched with a 5.92-inch display, with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It can be assumed that a display with a higher refresh rate is also given in the vanilla model.

Asus has created a microside, with a countdown timer running, confirming the launch date on May 12.

Asus ZenFone 8 can reportedly be given 16 GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which will provide smooth performance to the users. Asus is promoting this phone as “big on performance, compact in size”. Asus can livestream the launch event on its social media channels.

Asus has not yet clarified how many smartphone models it will be launching under the Asus Zenfone 8 series, but older leaks indicated that many phones could be included in the series. A report claimed that they found three smartphones in the kernel source code with the codenames “SAKE”, “PICASSO”, and “VODKA”.
