BSNL’s free SIM offer now till 31 January, changes in two plans

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended it till 31 January 2021, expanding the free SIM offer. The state-owned telecom company has given its information through the Tamil Nadu website. This offer was first launched in the month of November, which was applicable till November 28 only. However, it was then reintroduced with validity until 1 January. However, now once again this offer has been expanded. Apart from this, BSNL has also made changes in plan voucher of Rs 186 and special tariff voucher of Rs 199.

BSNL has announced that the free SIM offer will now be applicable till 31 January 2020. All customers can apply for new SIM or other customers to port in BSNL, in which you will get free SIM. However, to get a free SIM, customers have to recharge a First Recharge Coupon (FRC) of Rs 100. The company has updated this on its Tamil Nadu Circle website. According to the report by OnlyTech, this plan was initially introduced in the second week of November, which was to end on 28 November. However, it was revived on 17 December, with validity till 1 January.

BSNL has also made changes in its Tamil Nadu circle plan voucher of Rs 186 and special tariff of Rs 199. The price of the plan voucher of Rs 186 will now be Rs 199 and it will be valid for 30 days against the validity of 28 days. However, all the remaining benefits will remain the same. The company is going to start this change from 1 January 2021. The special tariff voucher of Rs 199 has also been reduced to Rs 201 now. However, with this change neither the validity has been expanded nor in the features and benefits.

Significantly, recently, BSNL also extended the Eros Now subscription in its annual prepaid plan of Rs 1,999.
