Today is International Women’s Day 2021 and Facebook has launched a special logo on this occasion. In this, the Facebook logo on the Facebook homepage turns into a special Women’s Day logo and when you tap on it, it takes you to all the posts with the hashtag related to International Women’s Day 2021 being celebrated around the world. Designed in a purple shade, this logo shows women of different age groups and breeds. Women can be seen in face masks, reflecting the many challenges facing the COVID-19 epidemic.

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8 March and this year’s theme is #ChooseToChallenge. This year, the achievements of women are being celebrated. The theme emphasizes that (translated) ‘a challenging world is a cautious world’. This year’s theme is also based on how we can all challenge gender inequality.
