Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has tweeted that the FAU-G (Fearless and United Gaurd) game will be released on 26 January. The game has been available for pre-registration on Google Play since early December. However, there is no information about whether the game will be made available for pre-registration on the Apple App Store and if so, when. The tweet also includes the latest trailer of FAU-G. Bangalore-based FAU-G game developer nCore Games announced on Twitter last week that more than 1 million people had registered for the game less than 24 hours after pre-registration opened in India.
According to the game’s description on Google Play, FAU-G (military) is inspired by real-world events and “depicts the thrill of life of those who guard India’s borders.” The first trailer released in October featured the game’s theme and the company’s co-founder Vishal Gondal stated that the first level is based on Galvan Valley.
nCore Games originally planned to release the game in October, but it did not. The company then tweeted that FAU-G would be released in November. The game was announced soon after the ban on 118 Chinese apps, including the highly popular PUBG Mobile in India, in September. At the time, Gondal stated that the game was being developed a few months in advance.
