Hero Splendor tops best selling two-wheelers, can be bought from home

Let’s start with the latest report for the month of October. In October this year, Hero Splendor was bought by 2,67,821 customers. However, this figure is 15.19 percent less than last year. In October 2020, this motorcycle was bought by 3,15,798 lakh people. At the same time, if we talk about September, then in the month of September this year, Hero Splendor was bought by 2.77 lakh customers.

Hero Splendor can be bought in many models in the Indian market. Hero Splendor Plus BS6, Hero Splendor iSmart BS6, Hero Super Splendor BS6 and Hero Splendor Plus Black and Accent models are available in the market. The Hero Splendor series price in the Indian market starts at Rs 64,850 (Delhi, ex-showroom), going up to Rs 77,600 (Delhi, ex-showroom). Hero is also selling its two-wheelers online. The company’s two-wheelers can be purchased from the company’s online eShop in full payment or at home in finance.

Hero was also in the top 10 best selling motorcycle. Hero HF Deluxe was the second best selling bike in the country in October 2021. A total of 1,64,311 units of the bike were sold. Whereas, in October 2020, it was bought by 2,33,061 people.

In October 2021, 196,699 units of Honda’s gearless scooter Activa were sold, registering a year-on-year decline of 18%. For some time now, this scooter has maintained its third position in the list of top 10 best selling two-wheelers.

Honda CB Shine stood at the fourth position with 113,554 units, which too saw a year-on-year decline of 4.2%. The fifth place went to Bajaj Platina, which sold 84,109 units in October 2021. TVS Jupiter was ranked eighth in the list of top 10 best selling two-wheelers in October 2020, but this year it has moved up two places to sit at the sixth position. The scooter sold 72,161 units last month.

TVS XL Super sold 55,356 units last month and slipped two places from last year to number seven. Bajaj Pulsar sold 48,662 units in October this year and made it to the eighth position. Suzuki Aceess was ranked ninth last year as well and remained at the ninth position this year with sales of 46,450 units. TVS Apache made the last place in the list. In October this year, 39,799 units of this bike were sold.
