Information about Mi Watch Lite can be rebranded version of Redmi Watch

Xiaomi’s Mi Watch Lite is reportedly listed on the UL (Demko) certification website and is believed to be a rebranded version of Redmi Watch. This listing has been shared by well-known Tipster via Twitter and appears to be a toned-down and affordable version of the Mi Watch that Mi Watch launched in China in November last year. The Mi Watch Lite listing comes with the model number REDMIWT02, although this listing only indicated the charging speed of the smartwatch.

Let us tell you, the Mi Watch was launched in China at a price of CNY 1,299 (about Rs. 13,000), while its premium variants were launched at CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 20,000). However, now with Mi Watch Lite, Xiaomi plans to include more affordable variants in its wearables. Techupdates7 The UL (Demko) certification website listing has been shared by Tipster. In this listing, the name of ‘Mi Watch Lite’ is located with the model number ‘REDMIWT02’, while information about 5Vdc and 0.4A charging support has been given. The model of the smartwatch itself informs that it belongs to the Redmi Watch, indicating that the Mi Watch Lite will be the rebranded version of the Redmi Watch.

Not only this, but according to the well known Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Redmi Watch with the model number REDMIWT01 was recently listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) listing. This listing only reveals the watch’s model number, this shows that the model number of the recently launched Mi Watch Light is the same as the model number of the Redmi Watch. It is then speculated that this will be the rebranded version of the Redmi Watch itself.

Well! At present, not much information has been revealed regarding the Mi Watch Light, nor has the information about its specification been received. Talking about connectivity, this smartwatch includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC support. The battery of this smart watch is 570 mAh, Xiaomi claims that this smartwatch will support up to 36 hours once fully charged. Apart from this, it has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage.

Talking about fitness and health tracking features, the Mi Watch comes with sleep tracking, stress tracking, body energy tracking and 10 professional sports modes.
