Jio brought back Rs 98 plan, but changed the benefits

Reliance Jio has introduced a recharge pack of Rs 98 for its prepaid customers. However, this is not a new plan. The company stopped this plan a little over a year ago and now it has been resumed. There is no extra benefit added to it. Instead, the validity of the first 28 days received has been halved. This Jio Rs 98 Plan of Rs 98 now offers 14 days validity. The plan comes with common benefits such as unlimited voice calling and high-speed data. It also has free access to Jio Suite apps like JioTV, JioCinema and JioNews.

As reported by OnlyTech, Jio has introduced a Rs 98 prepaid plan for its customers. This plan, which was discontinued last year, has been quietly brought back by Mumbai-based Telco. The plan offers 1.5GB daily high-speed data and has a validity of 14 days. Unlimited voice call facility is also available in this plan. It also includes free access to Jio Suite.

In May last year, Jio removed this plan of Rs 98 from its portfolio, after which the cheapest plan of the company’s portfolio became a plan of Rs 129. Let us know that a few months before the closure, the telecom giant made changes in the plan of Rs 98 and it has 28 days validity, 2GB high-speed daily data and free Jio-to-Jio calls as well as 300 free SMS like Add benefits.

The revised Jio prepaid recharge plan of Rs 98 can be availed through site as well as MyJio app. Customers can also recharge their prepaid numbers through third-party apps including Google Pay and Paytm.
