LG can launch dual-screen smartphone on September 14, these will be the features of the phone

LG on Wednesday announced its Explorer Project, which aims to bring new smartphones with “distinctive and yet unexplored usability experiences”. The first smartphone to be launched under this new lineup will be launched on September 14, the company revealed this via a teaser video. The video suggests that the handset will get rotating and dual screen experience. This points towards the alleged “Wing” phone, which has led to speculation that it will be launched in the second half of 2020. LG says the new project aims to expand into the current user experience and focus entirely on new usability.

LG has shared a 30-second-long video on its global YouTube channel, which indicated that the upcoming phone may be equipped with a dual screen, which will feature a T-shaped design and the screen will rotate clock-wise. Let me tell you, the video of this unique design phone was leaked only last week. Since May this year, speculations are being made about this phone that this phone can be offered as LG Wing.

At the moment, LG has not made public any specific information about the new phone. However, the company has informed about the virtual launch, which will start on 14 September ET (7:30 pm Indian time) on LG Mobile Global Facebook and YouTube channel on 14 September.

LG has informed in the press release that the new smartphone will be part of the Explorer Project. The company is working with several partners to develop features for its new form factor, including Qualcomm, Rave, Ficto, Tubi and Naver etc.

According to the reports so far, LG’s new smartphone will come in a T-shaped design, which will give users new uses. One of the new uses is that after this development, users will also be able to view the contents horizontally on one screen, while the other screen will be located vertically in position. It is being told that the primary display of the phone can be 6.8 inches, while the secondary display can be 4 inches and its aspect ratio will be 1: 1.

LG may offer this phone as a premium price tag, which will be around $ 1,000 (around Rs 73,000). There are also reports that some specifications of the phone will be similar to the LG Velvet smartphone, which was launched in May with triple rear camera setup and Snapdragon 765G processor.
