LG Wing is equipped with a curtain, dual display and Gimbal camera

The curtain has been lifted from LG Wing. This is the first device under the Explorer project of South Korean company LG. The aim is to introduce a new usability concept in the smartphone market. One of these is a swivel screen that can rotate 90 degrees. LG has also made several changes in terms of software so that the user experience is better in the new form factor. The LG wing features Hinze McNizam. LG Wing has a pop-up selfie camera.

The price of LG Wing has not been revealed yet. The phone will first be made available in the South Korean market in early October. It will be available in Aurora Gray and Illusion Sky colors. No information regarding the phone was brought to India.

The LG wing has a hinge that allows rotation on the main screen using a dual spring and dual lock with hydraulic damper. The company has used thermoplastic polyoxymethylene on the back of the primary screen.

Due to the new form factor, the user now has Basic mode and Swibal mode. Regarding the swibhal mode, the company says that the front of the phone rotates completely in 90 degrees. After which the main screen enters the landscape mode. This provides a wide-screen experience. Now users can watch videos on the primary screen and do some more work on the secondary screen. LG has partnered with YouTube and Tubi to play videos on Wing smartphones.

LG Wing smartphone comes with multi app feature. With this help, users can create shortcuts to pairs of apps that they want to use together with the primary on the secondary screen. The smartphone comes with grip lock which once enabled will work as a secondary screen grip.

Talking about the specification, the dual sim LG Wing runs on Q OS based on Android 10. It has a 6.8-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,460 pixels) p-oiled fullvision panel. This is the primary screen. The secondary screen is 3.9 inches. It is a full-HD + (1,080×1,240 pixels) G-oiled panel. The primary screen is of 20.5: 9 aspect ratio. The pixel density is 395 ppi.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor is used in LG Wing. 8 GB RAM has been provided for Jugalbandi. The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup. The primary camera is 64 megapixels, with f / 1.8 aperture. The secondary camera is 13 megapixels, with f / 1.9 ultra wide angle lens. Apart from this, a third camera of 12 megapixels has been given. It has a Hexa Motion Stabilizer. The LG Wing has the Gimbal Motion Camera feature due to the dual ultra-wide angle lens.

The LG Wing has a 32-megapixel sensor for selfie and video calling, with an f / 1.9 lens.

LG Wing has two options for inbuilt storage – 128 GB and 256 GB. Both variants will support microSD cards up to 2 TB. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS / A-GPS and USB Type-C port. The smartphone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

LG has given 4,000 mAh battery in this phone. This Quick Charge supports 4.0+ 25W fast charging.
