Mi 5 series cheapest 5G smartphone will be launched in September

The family of the Mi 10 series is about to get bigger. In September, Xiaomi will launch its new 5G smartphone of this series, which will be priced below EUR 300 (about 26,200 rupees). The company disclosed this through a tweet post on Tuesday. The new handset is claimed to be a 5G handset worth the money and will have a new processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series. The company has not yet explained in detail about this model. However, it will be the most affordable phone in the Mi 10 series, meaning it may be a weaker version of the Mi 10 Lite introduced in March.

Xiaomi Tweeted The new member of the K10 series will start at EUR 2XX. This means that the price of the new phone will be less than EUR 300. In this way the new handset will be cheaper than the M10 Lite. Remember that the Mi 10 Lite was launched at EUR 349 (around Rs 30,500).

Xiaomi’s teaser tweet also states that the new processor of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Series will be used in the new model of the M10 series. The company’s effort is to make 5G connectivity accessible to more and more customers. It is being speculated that it may be the Mi 10T handset which will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 or Snapdragon 775G processor.

Apart from this, the new model may also have some similarities with the M10 Lite, which is the cheapest handset in the M10 series to date. This smartphone comes with 6.57 inch AMOLED display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. The M10 Lite has a quad rear camera setup. There is a 48 megapixel primary camera here. The front panel has a 16-megapixel camera and is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
