The new Mi TV Lux 4K 82-inch is priced at 9,999 Chinese yuan (about Rs 1,08,000), while the Mi TV Lux 82-inch Pro has been launched for 49,999 Chinese yuan (about Rs 5,41,000).

Let’s start with the 4K model. The Mi TV Lux 4K features an 82-inch 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels) olead display, with a 178-degree viewing angle and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, a segmented backlit display, and a DCI-P3 at 93 percent graphite. It comes equipped with MEMC Motion Compensation Technology, Dolby Vision Support. It has a response time of 6.5 milliseconds. The 4K model works on the MediaTek MT9650 quad-core processor, which includes the Mali-G52 MC1 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Internal storage is 64 GB.
The TV runs on the TV version of MIUI. It comes with Dolby audio support and six-unit speakers. Other features include automatic low latency mode (ALLM) and variable refresh rate (VRR). Connectivity options include dual frequency Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and IR blaster. The TV comes with three HDMI ports, an AV port, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, an optical fiber port and four mic.

The Mi TV Pro features an 82-inch (7,680 × 4,320 pixels) 8K mini LED display with peak brightness 2000 nits. It also gets MEMC as well as Mini LED 960 segmented backlight system, quantum dot technology, DCI-PX 98 percent color gamut and Dolby vision support. It works on the Novatech 72685 quad-core processor, which includes the Mali-G51 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Internal storage is 256 GB. The 8K model also runs on the TV version of MIUI and supports Dolby audio. It has eight-unit speakers. Other features include automatic low latency mode (ALLM), DC dimming and variable refresh rate (VRR). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, a Gigabyte Ethernet port, an optical fiber port, a 5G SIM slot and many other features. The Mi TV LUX 82-Inch Pro also comes with an in-box NFC remote control, which allows users to cast videos from their smartphones to the TV.
