Mi Watch Lite may be launched in India soon, alleged BIS listing surfaced

Mi Watch Lite has reportedly received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, which has been reported by Tipster. The BIS listing has pointed to its India launch. Let me tell you, this smartphone was launched internationally last month and now it seems that it is going to knock in India soon. The Mi Watch Lite appears to be a rebranded model of the Redmi Watch and is also listed as ‘Redmi’ on BIS, indicating that it may launch as a rebranded version of the Redmi smartwatch in India. Xiaomi’s latest smartwatch comes in 11 workout modes, which has been said to provide up to 9 days of battery life.

Tipster Mukul Sharma’s accordingly, Has shown in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification that the model number of Mi Watch Lite is REDMIWT02. Although not much information has been revealed from this certification, but there is an indication that Xiaomi can launch this smartwatch in India as soon as possible. Mi Watch Lite may be a rebranded version of the Redmi Watch, which was launched in China in November. It is priced at CNY 299 (about Rs. 3,400) in China. We can also hope that its Indian price will be around the same.

Xiaomi’s new Mi Watch Lite features a 1.4-inch (320×320 pixels) square LED display with 323 PPI pixel density and at least 350 nits of adaptive brightness. Apart from this, there is a 230 mAh battery, which takes up to 2 hours to be fully charged. It has been told that this watch lasts for 9 days in standard usage, while you can use it continuously for 10 hours with GPS mode. Me Watch Light has 11 sports modes, which include outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, outdoor running, treadmill, walking, open water swimming, swimming in pool, cricket, trekking, trial run, walking, indoor running and free activity.

Talking about the sensor, it has GPS / A-GPS / GLONASS, optical heart rate sensor, six-axis sensor, L-sensor, barometer and compass. Talking about dimensions, this watch weighs 41x35x10.9mm and Mi Watch Light is 35 grams with a strap. Android users will need the Xiaomi Wear app to connect this watch to the device, while iOS users can connect to it via the Xiaomi Wear Lite app.
