The Geekbench listing seen by MySmartPrice featured a Moto phone with the model number XT-2117. The listing suggests that the phone may be offered under the name of Moto G Play (2021). The same model number was leaked earlier this month by a tipsster and it was speculated that it is the Moto G10 Play. Now the latest Geekbench listing calls it Moto G Play (2021). In the listing, the phone is shown with 3 GB RAM. However, it may happen that the phone is launched in more variants. Apart from this, the processor has not been named in the alleged Moto G Play (2021) listing, but MSP has speculated that it may be the Snapdragon 460 chipset.
In the Geekbench listing, the alleged Moto G Play (2021) got 253 marks in the single-core test and the phone scored 1,233 in the multi-core test. The device is listed with Android 10 in the listing.
As we reported, a known tipsster Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) called the model number XT-2117 as the Motorola Moto G10 Play. Although Tipster also made it clear at the time that it did not confirm its name, he did write that the phone would be an upgrade to the Moto G9 Play launched in Europe in August.
Leixter had also shared pictures of the alleged Moto G10 Play, in which the phone appeared with a hole-punch display. Apart from this, triple rear camera setup was also seen in the phone, which was located in the square camera module. The fingerprint sensor in the Moto phone was placed on the power button, with the 3.5mm headphone jack set on the upper back. Now the name may be different, but the model number is the same. In such a situation, one can expect the upcoming Moto G Play (2021) to come with a similar design. However, no information has been shared by the company yet. In such a situation, it would be correct to consider all these information as mere leaks.
