In its report, Dealntech shared a screenshot of the source code of the Geekbench benchmark of the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G. It shows that the chipset that powers the phone has eight cores, including two cores running at 2.21GHz and six cores running at 1.80GHz. The screenshot also shows that the chipset includes Adreno 619 graphics. The configurations match the Snapdragon 750G chipset. The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G model number SM-A426B is also mentioned in this source code.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G was announced earlier this month, however, Samsung did not provide any information about the processor. Earlier, it was speculated that the phone would work on Snapdragon 690 chipset, but now the latest source code leak has brought completely new information. However, the company has not officially given any information about this yet.
