News of Samsung Galaxy M31 and Samsung Galaxy M21 receiving One UI 2.1 update

Samsung Galaxy M31 and Samsung Galaxy M21 smartphones have started receiving new One UI 2.1 update, which will include new camera features etc. The Galaxy M31 began receiving Android 10-based One UI 2.1 updates earlier this month, but did not include some camera features such as Single Take, Light Hyperlaps and My Filters, which are now available on the Galaxy M31 as well as the Galaxy M21 Has been introduced for The One UI 2.1 update has reportedly started rolling out for the smartphone.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy M31 smartphone has received the firmware version M315FXXU2ATIB, while the Samsung Galaxy M21 has received the full Android 10 based One UI 2.0 Experience M215FXXU2ATI9 update. The size of the software update of the Galaxy M31 is 498MB, while the size of the Galaxy M21 is 1,292MB.

The My Filter option included for the smartphone in the One UI 2.1 update allows colors and style to be used to create custom filters that you can use for future shots. Through the single take feature, you can use the shutter button to click photos and video series. The Night Hyperlaps mode in the update helps you shoot low-light hyperlaps videos.

The report says that this update has started rolling out in India and Asia and Europe. If you have not yet received the update notification, you can check the availability of the update by going to Settings. For this, you have to tap on download and install in software update.

One UI Core 2.1 includes Android 10 update as well as features such as Music Share and Quick Share. The Galaxy M21 smartphone has also received the September 2020 security patch in this update.
