News of Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite receiving One UI 3.0 update in India, based on Android 11

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone has reportedly started receiving Android 11 based One UI 3.0 updates in India and Spain. This update brings One UI 3.0 features like redesigned UI elements, enhanced quick panel, improved dynamic lock screen as well as updated Samsung apps. Apart from this, this update is equipped with the December 2020 Android Security Patch. Let me tell you, other smartphones in this series such as Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10 5G have still not received this update.

As per Samsung Community Post, the firmware version of the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone is G770FXXU3DTL1. The file size of this update is 2,053.34MB and has been rolled out for India and Spain. This report was first reported by SamMobile. According to reports by XDADevelopers, this update can also be rolled out for the US, Russia, UAE and Panama. It is expected that Samsung can rollout this update in other markets in the coming days.

This update brings features like Android 11 and One UI 3.0 in the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone. It is also equipped with refreshed UI design, improved animations, chat bubbles as well as Always-On Display Improvements. Apart from this, users will get a dedicated section and media playback widget to interact in the notification shade. This update reportedly improves performance and optimizes the battery.

If you are a Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite user and you are from the above countries where these updates have been released and you are not able to get the notification of the update so far, you can install it manually. For this, you will have to go to Settings and go to System Update and download and install the update received.
