SamMobile report has revealed that three smartphones Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 + and Galaxy A51 have started receiving the latest One UI 2.5 update. The report states that the One UI 2.5 update firmware version of the Galaxy S9 series is G96xFXXUCFTJ2 and has been rolled out in Germany. If the German users have not received notification of this update till now, then they can also check its availability by going to the software update menu by going to their phone’s settings. Let me tell you, the One UI 2.5 update has reportedly brought wireless DeX support for Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus users. Apart from this, Samsung keyboard has also been improved in this update, with which split mode and YouTube search function have been added. Also, improvements have been made to the camera and the ability to adjust recording durations in single take mode has also been added.
The One UI 2.5 update is reportedly the last major update for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphones. However, even after this, these phones may not receive Android 11 update, but security patches will be issued for them.
Talking about Samsung Galaxy A51, Android 10 based One UI 2.5 update has been released for the users of Russia. The firmware version of this update is A515FXXU4CTJ1 (for model number SM-A515F) and includes the October 2020 Android Security Patch. SamMobile report states that this update has been released in Russia since yesterday. The One UI 2.5 update for Galaxy A51 phones brings features such as Always On Display, stability improvements.
