Nokia 8 V 5G UW launched with Snapdragon 765G processor, know other features

The Nokia 8 V 5G UW smartphone has been launched by HMD Global. This new smartphone is the company’s second 5G phone after the Nokia 8.3 5G, but the mmWave is the first model in the Nokia portfolio to support the 5G network as well as sub-6GHz. HMD has introduced the Nokia 8 V5G UW exclusively for US carrier Verizon. In addition to Verizon’s ultra-wideband network support, the new Nokia phone is actually a changed avatar of the Nokia 8.2 5G phone launched in March.

The Nokia 8 V5G UW has been priced at $ 699.99 (approximately Rs 52,000). This phone has been brought in the Meteor Gray color option, whose cell is going to start from November 12. The Nokia 8 V 5G UW phone will be available for purchase in the US through Verizon’s website, apps and local retailers. This phone will not be made available in the global market.

Let me tell you, the Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone was launched globally at a price of EUR 599 (about Rs 52,500), which is the price of 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variants of the phone.

This phone is available in single and dual-sim (nano) variants. Nokia 8 V5G UW phone works on Android 10 and it has been promised that Android 11 update will be released soon. The phone has a 6.81 inch full-HD + pure display with a 20: 9 aspect ratio and hole-punch design. This phone is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, with 6 GB and 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM options. The Nokia 8 V5G UW phone comes with a quad rear camera setup, with a primary camera of 64 megapixels, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with a 2-megapixel macro shooter. It has a 24-megapixel camera for selfie and video calling. Both front and rear smartphone cameras are equipped with Zeiss optics.

Nokia 8V 5G UW phones get 64 GB and 128 GB storage options. For connectivity, it includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, FM radio, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer and proximity sensor. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Apart from this, there is also a Google Assistant button in it.

HMD has given a 4,500 mAh battery in this smartphone, with 18 watt fast charging support. The dimensions of the phone are 171.9×78.5×8.9mm and the weight is 226 grams.
