OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T series will get OxygenOS 11 update in December, reports claim

OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T series smartphones will start receiving Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 update from December, according to the latest report. The OnePlus 7 and 7T series include smartphones such as OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro, which were launched last year. Let me tell you, OnePlus 8T smartphone has been launched with OxygenOS 11, after which this news related to 7 and 7 T series has been revealed. Apart from this, OnePlus 8 series smartphones including OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro phones have started receiving the over-the-air OxygenOS 11 update from 1 October.

Let us tell you, earlier the report said that users of OnePlus 7 series will start receiving OxygenOS 11 update after the beginning of 2021. But now a OnePlus spokesperson has confirmed to the Android Authority that OnePlus 7 models will start receiving this update from December this year. However, no information has been revealed regarding when the OxygenOS 1 update will be released for the OnePlus Nord smartphone.

It is worth noting that the next number in this line is now OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6, which recently started getting the OxygenOS 10.3.6 update, this update is equipped with the September 2020 Android security patch and includes some system stability and bug fixes. The OnePlus 7T smartphone is equipped with a 6.41-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,340 pixels) display, dual rear camera, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. The OnePlus 7 Pro phone has a 6.67 inch fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and triple rear camera setup. Both these phones are no longer available for purchase.

The starting price of OnePlus 7T is Rs 34,999, this price is for the phone’s 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The price of OnePlus 7 Pro starts at Rs 43,999 in India. This price is of 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variants. Its 12 GB RAM + 256 GB McLaren Edition is priced at Rs 58,999.
