OnePlus 8T Pro will not launch in 2020, another ‘affordable’ OnePlus phone likely to come

OnePlus 8T Pro will not launch this year. The smartphone had been in leaks and rumors for some time. It was expected that the company will launch this smartphone with OnePlus 8T in October, but now the company’s CEO Pete Lau has confirmed the rumor that OnePlus 8T is not knocking in the market this year. They have announced that the company has decided not to introduce OnePlus 8T Pro this year. Lau said that the OnePlus 8 Pro is a premium flagship in its own right and it does not make sense to upgrade the “Pro” series this year. OnePlus has indicated the arrival of a new phone in the OnePlus Nord series, which may launch on October 14 with the OnePlus 8T.

Lau has announced on Weibo that OnePlus 8T Pro will not be launched with OnePlus 8T this year. He said that it does not make sense to bring any kind of upgrade over the existing ‘Pro’ smartphone i.e. OnePlus 8 Pro, because OnePlus 8 Pro is already a feature loaded smartphone. This means that the company will only bring OnePlus 8T in the upcoming series. Although OnePlus has indicated the arrival of a new phone in the affordable Nord series, it has not yet confirmed the launch date. It is possible that this phone will be launched with OnePlus 8T next month. However, there is no official information about this.

Now, because OnePlus 8T Pro is not coming, we keep our focus on OnePlus 8T. Talking about OnePlus 8T, this smartphone has already leaked many times. Apart from the leaks, the company itself has confirmed many of its features. OnePlus recently confirmed in a post on its community forum that the OnePlus 8T will be launched with a 4,500mAh capacity battery supporting 65W Warp Charge technology. This will be a major upgrade compared to the OnePlus 8, as the company has previously used a maximum of 30 watts fast charging technology. The company claims that this technology will fully charge the phone’s battery in just 39 minutes and about 58 percent in just 15 minutes.

Apart from this, it has also been confirmed that OnePlus 8T will have a 6.5-inch full-HD + display with a 120Hz refresh rate. If leaked, then the phone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and will be given a maximum of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

Talking about the camera, the phone may have a quad rear camera setup which will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 16-megapixel sensor, a 5-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The phone may have a 16-megapixel camera on the front for a selfie.
