OnePlus CEO Pete Lau informed TechRadar about the display of the upcoming OnePlus 8T smartphone. He confirmed that this smartphone will have a 6.55-inch display, which was also given in its previous version OnePlus 8. The biggest change that is going to be found in this phone is its refresh rate. While the OnePlus 8 was given a 90Hz refresh rate with a Fluid Amoled display, the OnePlus 8T will include a 120Hz refresh rate. Lau says that with this handset a smooth display experience will be obtained. Not only this, it will also bring a large level of improvement in viewing and gaming experience.
Lau also said that the OnePlus 8T SmartPhone will come with 2.5D flexible panel. Giving information, the executive said that the 2.5D flexible screen provides improved light permeability and maximum 1100 nits brightness compared to the regular panel. In addition, the OnePlus 8T display will have a 91.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, which was OnePlus 8 Pro (90.8 percent) and OnePlus 8 (88.7 percent). OnePlus Nord came in with 86.7 percent.
The CEO also says that the OnePlus 8T screen will provide “the highest color accuracy possible across the industry”. This means that more detailing and sharpness will be seen in the pictures of the new smartphone.
