The front and back design of the phone is visible in the OnePlus 9 render revealed through 91Mobiles. However, this is not necessarily the final design. The phone can be seen with a hole-punch display, as we have seen in OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8T. The rear has a triple rear camera setup, with two camera sensors larger than the third. An LED flash also appears next to the camera sensor.
The render shows that OnePlus 9 will continue to have OnePlus’s popular alert slider. Apart from this, a volume rocker is included on the left side of the phone. The render can also infer that the new flagship may lack a headphone jack.
OnePlus 9 specifications (expected)
Apart from the CAD render suggesting the design of the OnePlus 9, 91mobiles have leaked some of its key specifications. The phone is said to have a 6.55-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will come equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset. It is also estimated to have 65W fast charging support. In addition, a OnePlus phone with model number LuBan LE2117 has appeared on the benchmark site Geekbench and, as reported by a Weibo user, is associated with model number OnePlus 9.
The Geekbench listing suggests that the OnePlus 9 will run on Android 11 and will come with 8 GB of RAM. From the listing, it seems that the Snapdragon 875 chipset has also been suggested to be included in the smartphone. The phone has got a single-core score of 1,122 and a multi-core score of 2,733.
