OnePlus Nord begins receiving OxygenOS 10.5.5 update, will be improved

The OnePlus Nord smartphone has received a new update, which is equipped with a number of bug fixes and system improvements. This software update brings OxygenOS version 10.5.5. Let me tell you, a few days ago OnePlus also released OxygenOS 10.5.4 update for OnePlus Nord, after which the next update has also been rolled out. This new update corrects problems encountered with system reboots and OnePlus Notes running in the background. This OxygenOS 10.5.5 update of OnePlus Nord also improves the power consumption problem. However, this latest update has not brought any new Android security patches and interface-level changes.

According to the announcement made through the OnePlus Community Forum, the OxygenOS 10.5.5 update build number of OnePlus Nord Indian users is 10.5.5.AC01DA. While the build number of global market customers is 10.5.5.AC01AA. This update will also reach the European market soon, with a build number of 10.5.5.AC01BA.

According to the changelog posted on the forum, this update improves the volume adjustment interface in the OnePlus Nord as well as the system reboot when the Freeform Window feature is enabled. It also fixes the problem of OnePlus Notes running in the background.

In addition to the bug fixes, the OxygenOA update has also been claimed to provide clarity in photos taken in low light using the front camera. At the same time, the macro camera has also been specially improved. This update enhances the charging experience and also introduces improvements in power consumption.

As we mentioned, the OxygenOS 10.5.5 update has not brought any changes in the Android Security Patch. This means that you will get the July 2020 Android Security Patch even after this update. Let me tell you, recently some phones have been received through the August Android Security Patch update, which includes OnePlus 8 Pro.

OnePlus informed in a forum post that the new update will be received initially by a limited number of people, although it will be released to a larger number of people in the coming days. Indian users of OnePlus Nord can also see the availability of updates by going to the settings menu of their OnePlus Nord.

It is worth noting that OnePlus Nord recently received OxygenOS 10.5.4, which was equipped with selfie and macro camera improvements.
