OnePlus Nord gets new update, fixes this problem

OnePlus Nord has started receiving OxygenOS 10.5.6 update in India and it fixes the problem of stability of Bluetooth connection. Some users recently reported experiencing Bluetooth issues, where the phone automatically disconnected from the paired device after a few minutes. Because of this, there were problems when using wireless headphones or while transferring files from OnePlus Nord. However, this latest update claims to fix this Bluetooth connection stability issue and it also brings image stabilization performance to the camera app.

The OxygenOS 10.5.6 update has been released for OnePlus Nord users in India. The company has announced the rollout through its forum. OnePlus says that users in Europe will get the update soon. Indian OnePlus Nord users get the updated firmware version number 10.5.6.AC01DA, while for global handset users, the number is 10.5.6.AC01DA. OnePlus Nord users will get firmware version 10.5.6.AC01BA in the European Union region.

This OTA update for the OnePlus Nord will initially be released to a few users and will be rolled out in a big way. OnePlus Nord users can check this update in the phone’s settings.

According to the changelog, the OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 10.5.6 update improves the stability of the Bluetooth connection. Connection stability was more of a problem when connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and 5 GHz was not a problem of this kind. When the phone connected over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth would disconnect in a few seconds, but not on 5 GHz Wi-Fi or mobile data. This problem was reportedly further exacerbated with mobile hotspots.

In addition to this Bluetooth fix, this update improves system stability, improved camera image stabilization, and general power consumption.
