Oppo introduced rollable display phones and unique AR glasses, learn everything

Oppo has shown a smartphone with a rollable OLED screen and AR glass at Oppo Inno Day 2020. Oppo has also posted three tweets, showing the design of both devices. The smartphone that comes with a rolling OLED screen will be called Oppo X 2021 and AR Glass has been named Oppo AR Glass 2021. The Oppo X2021 comes equipped with a roll motor powertrain, allowing two displays to be rolled. The company did not share information about AR Glass 2021 during the presentation.

During Oppo Inno Day 2020, the company shone a light on its new device that transformed the smartphone into a tablet with a larger screen. The company is calling it as Oppo X 2021 and it comes with a rollable screen. The display is olead and it can be rolled in and out from both sides, due to which it can take the form of a small smartphone and a large tablet. In its normal form, the screen size is 6.7 inches. Here Oppo has used a motor powertrain, with the help of which the screen size increases to 7.4 inches. The Oppo X 2021 includes a USB Type-C port at the bottom and a speaker grill.

In this, Oppo has given a strong screen laminate, which the company is calling warp track. This makes the screen stronger and allows the screen to achieve a 6.8 mm bending diameter. The Oppo X2021 can provide a fullscreen experience with both 16: 9 and 4: 3 content. Three cameras have also appeared on the back of the phone.

Oppo AR Glass comes to 2021. Although no information was given on this device in the event, but the company’s Tweet It includes features such as Time of Flight (ToF) sensor, SLAM (localization and mapping) algorithm, deflective optical wave guide technology and gesture and voice navigation. All sensors are set in the glass cradle (above the nose).

Oppo did not share the launch date of both the devices, but it is certain that they will be launched next year.
