Oppo Reno 5K phone launched with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 4 back camera, 4,300mAh battery

The Oppo Reno 5K smartphone has been introduced as the latest model of the Oppo Reno series on Thursday. The specifications of this new smartphone are similar to the Oppo Reno 5 5G smartphone, which was launched in the Chinese market in December last year. However, the only difference between the two phones is the processor. While the latest Oppo Reno 5K phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, the Oppo Reno 5 5G phone is equipped with Snapdragon 765 processor. Other specifications of Oppo Reno 5K are the same as Oppo Reno 5 5G. This means that the new phone is also equipped with a quad rear camera setup, hole-punch display design and 4,300 mAh battery, similar to the model launched last year.

Oppo Reno 5K price, availability details

The price of Oppo Reno 5K has not been revealed at the moment. However, the sale of this phone will be started in China from March 6, in which the phone’s 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage will be sold. This phone will be available for purchase in three color options, namely Green Breeze, Midnight Black and Starry Dream.

Recall, the 8GB + 128GB storage model of the Oppo Reno 5 5G phone was priced at CNY 2,699 (about Rs. 30,300) in China and the 12GB + 256GB storage model was priced at CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 33,700). This phone came with three color options, which are Aurora Blue, Moonlight Night and Starry Night.

Dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo Reno 5 phone works on Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1. It has a 6.43 inch full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20: 9 aspect ratio, 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. Apart from this, this phone is equipped with Snapdragon 750G processor, with Adreno 619 GPU and 12 GB LPDDR4x RAM. For photography, the Oppo Reno 5 phone has a quad rear camera setup, whose primary camera is 64 megapixels, 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor, 2 megapixel macro sensor and 2 megapixel portrait lens.

It has a 32 megapixel camera for selfie and video calling. The front facing camera features a five-piece lens, which comes with 85 degree field-of-view (FoV).

The phone of Oppo Reno 5 has 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage. For connectivity, it includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth V5.1, GPS / A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port for charging. Talking about sensors, it includes geomagnetic sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, gravity sensor and gyroscope.

The phone has a battery of 4,300 mAh, with SuperVOOC 2.0, SuperVOOC, VOOC 3.0, PD and QC fast charging protocol support. The dimensions of Oppo Reno 5K are 159.1×73.4×7.9mm and the weight is 179 grams.
