The only 4GB RAM + 64GB model of the Panasonic Toughbook S1 is priced at US $ 2,499 (approximately Rs. 1.82 lakh). Currently, it can only be purchased in the US. No information has been available about its international availability.

The device is based on Android 10 and has a 7-inch WXGA (800×1,280 pixels) display. It has 10 point capacitive multi touch, glow touch mode, anti reflective (AR) screen treatment and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Talking about performance, it has an Octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC chip which is configured with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB of storage. Storage can be increased to 2 GB with the help of SD card, 32 GB with the help of SDH card and 64 GB with the help of SDX card.
For photos and videos, the device has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. For connectivity, Panasonic Toughbook S1 has Qualcomm WCN3990 Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C for charging. It also has an optional USB Type-A host port, connecting docking. Sensors have ambient light, digital compass, gyroscope and accelerometer.
The Panasonic Toughbook S1 has a 3,200mAh battery that can provide a backup of about 8 hours after taking 3 hours of charging time. With its Warm Swap function, its battery can be increased to 5,580mAh. After this, it can provide a battery backup of up to 14 hours with a charging time of 4.5 hours. It is 193x131x19.07mm and weighs 426 grams. It comes with MIL-STD-810H military grade certification in terms of hardness. Also, IP65 or IP67 certification has been given to protect it from dust, soil and water. By this, it provides protection from water up to five feet.
