According to the FCC listing, the smartphone with the model number M2012K11AG has been spotted with the Poco F3 moniker. This smartphone was earlier spotted in the IMDA listing with the same model number, indicating that the phone will be provided with 5G connectivity, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Due to having the same model number in both listings, it can be assumed that the Poco F3 smartphone will be the rebranded version of the Redmi K40.
In addition, the FCC listing mentions that the M2012K11AG model number phone will work on MIUI 12, which further reinforces Poco F3’s claim to be a rebranded version of Redmi’s 40 as Redmi’s 40 Android 11 based MIUI 12’s Has been launched with.
The MySmartPrice report also claimed that the phone with the M2012K11AG model number has been spotted in the IMEI database, indicating that it will be launched in India as well. However, it is important to note here that Poco has not shared any information about the upcoming phone at the moment.
A 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor was given in the back of the Redmi K40 phone. Apart from this, 8MP secondary sensor is ultra wide angle lens and 5 megapixel third macro sensor. The phone has a 20MP camera for selfie and video calling. It is believed that a similar camera setup can be given in Poco F3.
