Flipkart has created a microsite to tease the launch of Poco M2, pointing to the phone’s main attractions. Apart from this, Poco India and the company’s general manager C Manmohan have also used social media to confirm the launch of Poco M2 in India. According to the Flipkart microsite, the Poco M2 will launch in India on 8 September. At the moment, it is not known what will be the launch time of the phone and whether it will have a digital event. However the teaser page does suggest some of the phone’s main attractions.
If we look at the microsite, it is known that Poco M2 will come with a larger display, which will be better for viewing gaming or media content. Apart from this, the company claims that the phone will come with a strong battery, which will be used in long video calling. Remind that the Poco M2 Pro has a 5,020 mAh battery with 33 watt fast charging support. There is a possibility that the company will provide the same capacity battery in Poco M2.
The company has also teased more RAM in the phone. The Poco M2 Pro offers up to 6 GB of RAM. While teasing HD and low-light photos, the company has also talked about getting better quality low-light pictures in the phone. This is a reference to Xiaomi’s super low-light mode somewhere.
Talking about the design of the phone, the design of the back of the phone is not visible in it, but it is still confirmed that the phone will come with Waterdrop Notch and it will be given a thick chin at the bottom. It looks very much like a normal budget phone.
Poco has not officially shared information about the features and specifications of this phone at the moment, but it has been written on the microsite that tomorrow, September 3, the phone will be exposed from other information.
Apart from this, let’s say that the company is going to launch Poco X3 NFC in the global market on September 7, which was also confirmed by Poco via Twitter. The design of the phone’s camera module was recently teased as well as the company’s executive on a microblogging platform confirmed the existence of a 64-megapixel primary back camera. This new Poco phone will be an upgrade to the Poco X2 launched in India in February this year. Not much information has been revealed about the phone at the moment. However, it is believed that the phone will have a newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset.
