PUBG Mobile banned 12 lakh cheaters and hackers’ accounts in just 6 days

PUBG (PUBG) has around 600 million users worldwide. Even though PUBG Mobile (PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds) is currently banned in India, but in other countries, this battle royal game is still quite popular among the people. However, the user base of this game in India is quite large and this company is trying to re-enter India. PUBG has outpaced many games such as Fortnite Battle Royale, NetEase’s mobile game Knives Out. However, a big challenge for its popularity is cheating. Its parent company Tencent keeps banning such players to rein in cheaters in the PUBG game. Now the company has suspended 12,217, 342 accounts from PUBG Mobile in its latest move from 8 January to 14 January 2021, which were found to be involved in hacking and cheating during this period. According to the information that PUBG has shared, 48% of these hackers have been banned due to changes in auto-hams and their character models. Apart from this, 22% hackers were using X-ray vision, due to which they have been banned. At the same time 12% has been banned for speed hacks and 7% for modifying area damage.

While giving detailed information on the hackers, PUBG has told which rank hackers have been banned. Accordingly, Bronze (38%), Silver: 11%, Gold: 9%, Platinum: 11%, Diamond: 12%, Crown: 10%, Ace: 6% and Conqueror: 3%. PUBG Mobile is banned in India and the company is constantly trying to get this game back in India. PUBG was banned in India last year with over 100 Chinese apps.
