According to data analytics firm Sensor Tower, the latest download figures lag behind only Subway Surfers of Kiloo Games and Candy Crush Saga of King Digital Entertainment. Both these games are suitable for people of all categories and are also easy to play. This is the reason that both these games are downloaded in large numbers.
The game has crossed such a big figure even when it is facing a ban in India, one of its biggest markets. For the last several months, the company is trying to bring it back to India, but the government is looking very serious about the ban.
PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020. After the ban, Krafton acquired the India operation from Tencent and announced the new PUBG Mobile India game, but the game is yet to launch despite several trailer releases.
