Valheim, a Viking-themed survival game that players have been fond of for the past few weeks. 3 million 3 million copies of the game have been sold in just 16 days. The publisher of the game, Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Iron Gate AB, has announced the feat itself through the Steam blog. Valheim is currently on Early Access and was released on 2 February. Selling 30 lakh copies in just 16 days is definitely a big achievement. The Steam Chart shows that not only are its copies being sold indiscriminately, but the game is also being actively played by millions of players.

Valheim’s publisher Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Iron Gate AB have announced via post on Steam that the game has sold over 3 million copies within 16 days of release. Apart from this, some other achievements are also counted in the post. The game received over 60,000 ‘positive’ reviews last week. Not only this, the game has become one of Steam’s ‘Top 250’ best reviewed games in such a short time. The game was at number 78 while writing the news.

While writing the news, Valheim’s steam chart shows that the game has been viewed over 89,755,781 hours.

According to SteamCharts, this Viking-themed survival game is more popular than many multiplayer games. Surprisingly, in the “Top Games (By Current Players)” chart, Valheim is around extremely popular games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2.

Valheim is a Viking-themed survival game, released on Steam Early Access on 2 February. Within two weeks of launch, the game had sold 2 million copies. The online PC game can be purchased through Steam for Rs 529. Currently the game is only available on PC. Valheim is an open-world survival and crafting game.
