The company has started sending media invites for the launch event of the Realme 8 5G smartphone, which will be held on 22 April. This event will start at 12.30 pm. The company has also shared a poster with Invite, which has seen the front panel of the phone. The front panel of the phone shown in the poster is similar to the front panel of a phone teased on Thailand’s social media accounts. This event can possibly be livestreamed on Realme’s YouTube channel and Realme social media channels. Flipkart has already listed the Realme 8 5G phone on its website, which confirms that this phone will be available on this e-commerce website for purchase.
Flipkart has teased that the Realme 8 5G phone will have 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1 TB via micro SD card. Apart from this, this phone will work on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. At the same time, the phone will be equipped with a full-HD + display, which will have a maximum brightness of 600 nits, 90 Hz screen refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate.
Realme was teasing the phone in Thailand for the last few days, according to which the phone will be equipped with MediaTek Dimension 700 processor. The phone will have a 6.5 inch hole-punch display. Apart from this, 3.5mm audio jack and SIM tray will be present on the bottom of the phone. Side-mounted fingerprint scanners can also be seen in the design of the phone. Apart from this, Realme 8 5G phones will get 5,000 AMH batteries. The Reality 8 5G phone will be 8.5mm thin and its weight will be 185 grams. Apart from this, the phone will get Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue Color Option.
According to the old leaks, up to 8 GB of RAM can be found in Realme 8 5G phones.
