Xu Qi Chase has announced on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo that the Realme GT Neo smartphone will be launched in China on March 31. He also confirmed that the phone will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimension 1200 processor. From the shared poster, the phone’s design and any information related to the phone is not currently disclosed. But it has been confirmed that this launch event will start at 2.30pm CST (12 noon Indian time).
The Reality GT Neo was also teased earlier this month and then its MediaTek Dimension 1200 processor was confirmed by Chase. The flagship chipset was launched in January this year and Realme is the first company to use it in their phones. The MediaTek Dimension 1200 processor is an octa-core processor, featuring three ARM Cortex-A78 cores with clock speeds of 2.6GHz and four Arm Cortex-A55 efficiency cores with clock speeds of 2GHz. It supports up to 16GB of LDDR4x RAM as well as UFS 3.1 storage. The processor delivers a 168Hz display refresh rate and a 2,520×1,080 pixel resolution support. Additionally, the MediaTek Dimension 1200 5G processor supports 200-megapixel single and two 32-megapixel and 16-megapixel camera sensors.
The specifications of Realme GT Neo may be slightly different from Realme GT 5G, which is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. This phone has a 65 watt fast charging support with a 4,500 mAh battery.
