Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A get updates, many new features added

Realme Narzo 10 and Realme Narzo 10A have started getting the latest Realme UI updates. The Chinese smartphone brand confirmed this OTA (over-the-air) rollout in its community post. The update comes with many new features such as smooth scrolling and super nighttime standby mode etc. Also, there will be many improvements in the phone as compared to earlier. Although Realme has not shared information about which countries or regions will receive this reality update first, but the company has confirmed that the rollout is being released in a phased manner, which means that the update will initially be available to some users. And will gradually reach all users.

Realme Narzo 10 OTA changelog

Realme has confirmed on its community page that the Realme Narzo 10 handset has started receiving updates with the RMX2020_11.A.29 UI version number from September 5. This update comes with the August 2020 security patch and adds new features such as smooth scrolling and super nighttime to the phone. With the smooth scrolling feature, you will feel quite smooth while scrolling up and down in the menu of the phone. In addition, Super Nighttime is a power saving mode. Once the update is received, both of these can be turned on from the Realme Lab section within the phone’s settings.

Realme has also added a long press option to copy the IMEI of the phone to the status information interface. With the new update, users can also long press to uninstall the app directly from the app drawer. Focus mode can now be turned on or off via a dedicated toggle switch. An on-the-go (OTG) mode switch has been added to the notification panel. This mode is used to plug a thumb drive or any USB device such as a keyboard or mouse into the phone.

Talking about fixing problems, Realme has solved the issue where the split-screen feature could not be used after enabling the third-party launcher.

Realme Narzo 10A OTA changelog

The Realme Narzo 10A handset comes with the updated version number RMX2020_11.A.41. Apart from the version number, all the other added features, fixes and fixes to the problems are exactly the same as seen in the Realme Narzo 10 update.

Realme stated that the update is being rolled out in a phased manner to ensure stability, so it is possible that some Narzo handsets have not yet received this update. Realme has said that if there are no major issues in the update, the entire rollout will be completed in a few days.
