Realme users can get this important feature soon

Realme UI is going to get multi-user support soon. The company introduced its Realme UI custom interface with the Realme X50 5G earlier this year, which was slightly different from Oppo’s ColorOS software. Before that, the company used OPPO’s ColorOS. The new Realme UI software brings an almost stock Android-like experience with some additional features. This new software now offers Realme in all its new phones and now an unknown feature, which claims to be spot on by users on the Realme platform, is multi-user support.

If this new leak is to be believed, Realme is working on adding multi-user support for all Android 10 based phones working Realme UI handsets. A post shared on Realme’s community forum suggests that the company will soon add this feature to compatible Realme smartphones. With the multi-user feature, users will be able to create more than one profile on their phone. This will enable many users to share Android handsets completely with others, giving them a different set of wallpapers, data and applications. This helps each users to maintain their privacy.

The leak suggests that the multi-user feature will roll out for all Realme handsets running on Realme UI based on Android 10. There is no clarity on the date of the complete rollout of this feature and Realme has not shared any information on this news. But leaked screenshots indicate that the rollout of the feature is not far away. Whenever this feature is released, it can be used through Settings> Users and Accounts> Multi-users. The tipster also states that the process of creating different spaces for different users will be much easier and it will be possible to switch users from the notification panel.

Multi-user support for Android users has been available with Android Lollipop since about five years ago. Most Android OEMs have also included this feature in their custom skin.
