If this new leak is to be believed, Realme is working on adding multi-user support for all Android 10 based phones working Realme UI handsets. A post shared on Realme’s community forum suggests that the company will soon add this feature to compatible Realme smartphones. With the multi-user feature, users will be able to create more than one profile on their phone. This will enable many users to share Android handsets completely with others, giving them a different set of wallpapers, data and applications. This helps each users to maintain their privacy.
The leak suggests that the multi-user feature will roll out for all Realme handsets running on Realme UI based on Android 10. There is no clarity on the date of the complete rollout of this feature and Realme has not shared any information on this news. But leaked screenshots indicate that the rollout of the feature is not far away. Whenever this feature is released, it can be used through Settings> Users and Accounts> Multi-users. The tipster also states that the process of creating different spaces for different users will be much easier and it will be possible to switch users from the notification panel.
Multi-user support for Android users has been available with Android Lollipop since about five years ago. Most Android OEMs have also included this feature in their custom skin.
