Realme XT, Realme X2 and Realme X get latest updates in India, get these features

Realme XT, Realme X2 and Realme X smartphones have started receiving September over-the-air (OTA) updates in India, which bring the September 2020 Android security patch to the phone. Apart from this, some bug fixes and optimizations have been done through the update. The update has been rolled out in Phase Manor for all these smartphones to ensure that there is no serious bug present in the update. The update includes features such as super night-time standby. In addition to the September 2020 security patch, the Realme X2 phone has received the August 2020 security patch.

Realme has announced through its official forum that the latest software updates for Realme XT, Realme X2 and Realme X are being released in India. Realme XT has version number RMX1921EX_11.C.07, while Realme X2 has version number RMX1992EX_11.C.12 / RMX1992AEX_11.C.12 and Realme X has version number RMX1901EX_11.C.06. If the users have not received the notification of the update, they can also check the availability by going to the settings. The update changelog of Realme XT and Realme X is the same, while the changelog of Realme X2 includes additional updates.

According to the changelog, Realme XT, Realme X2 and Realme X will get the DC dimming feature and Soloop app through updates. The update includes deep cleanup feature and improved background cleaning capability, return button in screenshot preview, automatic download option for app in Wi-Fi connection, display option in status bar and shortcuts below settings, etc.

The update size of Reality XT is 470 MB, while the update size of Reality X2 is 690 MB and the size of Reality X is 465 MB.

Realme has introduced the ability to copy IMEI by long-pressing in the status information interface for the phone. Apart from this, some changes have been made in the status bar of the three phones, which have optimized the OTG switch, pop-up windows for system update notifications, and added the ‘mute-bell-vibrate’ icon. Also, the ability to uninstall the app from the app drawer by long pressing in the system update has been added.

The Realme X2 update includes an independent switch toggle of focus mode. Apart from this, the update camera shake problem, the font display problem of charging animation and the flickering problem that occur when the screen is turned on have been fixed. Other system updates of the phone have added sweeping effect to the icon of the newly installed app.

For Realme XT and Realme X smartphones, this update has brought auto scrolling feature in the scrolling screenshots. This system update of the phone has improved several problems, including the font size problem of charging animation, stalling problem when using the front camera in slow-mo mode, fingerprint name default while restarting the system in multi-user mode. Setting issues and crashing of search field in app list etc.
