Redmi 9 will be the latest budget offering from Xiaomi in India and it is expected that it will definitely attract the attention of customers. This smartphone is launching on 27 August with a dual rear camera setup and a display with a waterdrop-style notch. Redmi 9 will run on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. This may be different from the Redmi 9 global variant, which was launched in Spain in June and will probably be slightly different from the Redmi 9C launched in Malaysia in the same month.
Amazon recently teased the availability of Redmi 9 in India. The smartphone is rumored to come with three different color options. Specifications of the Redmi 9 may include a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support, a 13-megapixel primary camera sensor, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Oppo A53 2020
Oppo will launch Oppo A53 2020 in India at a virtual event on August 25 with a price of less than Rs 15,000. The initial teaser of Oppo A53 2020 has been reported to come with its hole-punch display and gradient back. Apart from this, there is a triple rear camera setup in the teaser. The phone is also listed on Flipkart. The phone launched in Indonesia on Friday with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage configuration. There it has been launched in electric black and fancy blue color options.
The Oppo A53 2020 features a 6.5-inch HD + (720×1,600 pixels) display and works on the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset. It includes a 16-megapixel primary camera sensor at the rear, a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor and a 5,000mAh battery with 18watch fast charging support.
Gionee will once again enter the Indian smartphone market by launching Gionee Max on August 25. Flipkart has teased the new smartphone to be launched at a price below Rs 6,000. Its teaser also suggests that the Gionee Max will come with a Waterdrop-style notch and will have thick bezels around the screen.
The Gionee phone will feature a 6.1-inch HD + display and 2.5D curved glass protection. The phone will also include a 5,000mAh battery, which the company says can give up to 28 days of standby time on a single charge.
Motorola’s new smartphone
The last phone in the list of phones to be launched in India next week is Motorola, which was recently teased on Flipkart. It will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port. Flipakrt is calling the new Motorola phone a “big” surprise. Although its official information has not been revealed yet. Nevertheless, it is speculated to be Moto E7 Plus, which was also seen in some recent leaks. It is rumored to have Snapdragon 450 chipset. The smartphone may also include a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.
