Redmi 9i price leaked just before launch

Redmi 9i is to be launched in India on 15 September. Prior to that, the price of the phone has been leaked on the Internet. According to teasers, this budget smartphone of Xiaomi will come with Waterdrop Notch and 3.5mm headphone jack. This will be the fourth smartphone of the Redmi 9 series in the Indian market. Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9 Prime have already been launched. The company has informed about making Redmi 9i available on the e-commerce site Flipkart and Me.com. It has also been reported that the Redmi 9i will also have a large battery with a large display.

91Mobiles and Tipster Ishan Aggarwal have claimed that the price of Redmi 9i will start from Rs 7,999. If this claim proves true, the phone will be slightly more expensive than Redmi 9A, but cheaper than Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 Prime models. It has been claimed that Redmi 9i will have two variants based on RAM and storage – 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. At the moment, the price of 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variants of the smartphone has not been leaked. The phone is expected to be offered in Midnight Black, Sea Blue and Nature Green colors. Remember that the Redmi 9A handset is also available in the Indian market in these same color options.

It was already known from the company’s teaser that this phone from Xiaomi will come with 4 GB RAM and Waterdrop Style Notch. The remaining two phones of the Redmi 9 series also have this feature. Apart from this, the smartphone will run on MIUI 12 software. It has also been reported that the Redmi 9i smartphone will come with a larger display. It will have microSD card support to increase storage. Smartphones can have many gaming features. Apart from this, there is also a teaser to give bigger batteries.

No other information about the specification of Redmi 9i is currently available. We have to wait till September 15.
