The Redmi Smart TV is equipped with Android TV 10 for X series connectivity and has HDR support up to 12 bit Dolby Vision. Like Xiaomi’s Mi TV range, the Redmi Smart TV X series also comes with the PatchWall UI in addition to the stock Android TV UI.

Redmi Smart TV X Series price in India, availability

There are three sizes available in the Redmi Smart TV X series, in which the price of Redmi Smart TV X50 inch TV is 32,999 rupees. While the Redmi Smart TV X55 is priced at Rs 38,999 and the 65-inch variant is available for purchase for Rs 57,999. All these TVs are 4K HDR LED models, and apart from the size, their specifications and features are the same.

The sale of the Redmi Smart TV X series will go live from March 25 and can be purchased through Amazon, Xiaomi’s online store as well as Mi Home and Mi Studio offline stores. It will compete in the latest TV market in the affordable TV segment of brands such as AmazonBasics, HISENSE, and Vu, which offer large-screen Ultra HD LED TVs under Rs 40,000.

The Redmi Smart TV X Series offers impressive specifications and features under this price, with Dolby Vision and HDR 10 Plus format support, especially for high dynamic range content. The TV also features Reality Flow and Vivid Picture Engine, which will provide an improved viewing experience. It also has various sound support, including Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos pass-over eARC and DTS Virtual: X.

This TV works with Android TV Launcher on Android TV 10. Like Xiaomi’s other TVs, the Redmi TV X series works on the PatchWall UI, which is Xiaomi’s content-focused, curated user interface that is quite popular on its Mi TV range. In this, the Google Chromecast built-in and Redmi TV range is the company’s first product, which has Mi Home app for loT product support in TV.

Talking about other specifications, it includes a 64 bit quad-core MediaTek processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage for apps and data, and Auto Low-Latency Mode (ALLM) for better gaming performance. The TV includes an eARC with three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, optical and 3.5mm audio connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.0.
