Xiaomi confirmed to Gadgets 360 that the Android 11 update has been released for the Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone, which was initially rolled out to a limited number of people. But in the coming days it will be extended to all the Redmi Note 9 Pro users.
According to the information shared by users on Twitter, the latest update size of Redmi Note 9 Pro is 2.3 GB and its firmware version is MIUI V220.127.116.11.RJWINXM. There is currently no information shared in the update’s changelog, nor has it been told what changes this latest update has brought. However, it does appear that the new software version is available through the Stable channel.
It is worth noting that the firmware version of the previous update of Redmi Note 9 Pro is MIUI V18.104.22.168.QJWINXM, which was rolled out in September. This update came with Android 10 based MIUI 12.

The new update brings Android 11 operating system for the Redmi Note 9 Pro, which was launched by Google earlier this year. However, this update does not appear to be equipped with any new Android security patches.
